Hopa is getting into the World Cup 2010 spirit by giving all new players the chance to play its latest football-themed online scratchcard game for free! The World Champions online scratchcard has a very nice football stadium background. The foreground is dominated by a 3x3 grid of scratch panels. To the left is a picture of a Golden Cup trophy and a Prize panel, and on the right is a football and a Total Wins panel. You set your stake for the game by adjusting left and right arrows at either side of a stake panel at the bottom of the card, and the more you stake the more you can win, right up to that £200,000 jackpot that we referred to in our introduction.
When you have selected your desired stake for the World Champions game, press the Play button to generate a new scratchcard. That done, scratch all nine panels to reveal the image behind each one. Most of the symbols are portraits of footballers in various national team strips, but you could also find a Golden Cup trophy symbol which can substitute for any other symbol and make winning easier.
Winning a prize in the World Champions game requires you to get three matching symbols (or two matching symbols and one Golden Cup trophy) in a straight line. The line can be vertical, horizontal or even diagonal, and if you get a winning line you will win the amount shown in the Prize panel. The number of wins achieved will be shown in the Total Wins panel. Some Golden Cup trophy symbols have multiplier values (x2, x5 or x10) and if one or more of these appear in your winning line then your prize will be multiplied accordingly.
