Namaste is a very common greeting in India which means ‘I bow to you’, and it is usually accompanied by the person giving the greeting holding the palms of their hands together. That same gesture is used as the logo in this Namaste online scratchcard game at Scratch2Cash, which also happens to be set in India – right in front of what appears to be the Taj Mahal, to be exact. What might surprise many players when they first encounter the Namaste online scratchcard game is that the scratch panels aren’t actually panels that need to be scratched – they are slot machines that need to be activated. There are three slot machines and each one is a separate game, so you can choose to play one, two or three games at the same time.
The Taj Mahal backdrop looks fabulous, and the gaming atmosphere is enriched further thanks to an authentic-sounding Indian tune that serves as a soundtrack. The symbols that appear on the slot machines include the inevitable bells and cherries, but also several symbols that have clearly been inspired by Indian culture, such as a man practicing yoga and a lotus flower.
You start the game by selecting your stake and then clicking on each of the machines that you wish to play. When you are happy with your selections (a Total Bets figure at the bottom of the game screen shows you how much you are risking) you can press the Spin button and the reels on the active machine(s) will start to spin.
Each machine has three reels and when these come to rest you will see three symbols. If all three symbols on a machine are identical then you will win a cash prize. The size of your prize is concealed under a small Prize panel at the top of the machine, and that panel is automatically revealed when the reels stop spinning.
As you can play three machines at once you can win up to three prizes at once. We achieved this on a couple of occasions, and it really was quite a thrill to see matching symbols appear on each of the three machines.
