Ludo
Ludo is a board game that has been played under that name since the end of the 19th century, but there is now an online scratchcard version at the National Lottery site which combines the traditional game with the opportunity to win up to £80,000. Each Ludo game costs just £2 and gives players a 1 in 3.71 chance of winning a cash prize. Of course, if you want to try the game for free just to see how it plays then you can do so. You can play up to 75 free games per day at the National Lottery site, so you have plenty of opportunity to get to grips with Ludo, and when you have done so you can start playing real games to try and win yourself some real cash prizes.
When you launch the Ludo instant win game you will be asked to choose the colour of your playing piece and when you have done so a familiar Ludo game board will unfold. On the left hand side of the game board are various rows of prize lines that tell you how you can win various amounts. At the bottom right of the board is a die, and when the game begins you have eight rolls of the die.
Click the die to roll a number and your selected playing piece will move around the Ludo game board by that number of spaces. Some of the spaces on the board are occupied by other playing pieces, star symbols, cash amounts, extra rolls and so on.
If your playing piece lands on a cash amount (including the Top Prize square) then you instantly win the amount indicated. If you land on another playing piece or a star symbol then these appear in the appropriate prize rows on the left of the board – complete a row and you will win the sum associated with that row. Land on a game instruction such as “Extra Roll” or “Forward 5” and that instruction will be carried out automatically. When the move has been made, you roll again to make your next move, and so on, until all of your rolls have been exchausted.
The presentation of the Ludo instant win game can’t be faulted, with authentic graphics and smooth animation delivering a top quality experience that makes this one of the best online scratchcards around. If you’re a fan of the board game then you will love the Ludo instant win version, and even if you haven’t played the board game we think the top prize of £80,000 is more than enough of an incentive to see what you’re missing!
