Hi-Lo Dice
Hi-Lo Dice at Mecca Games is a very elegant hi-lo instant win game that involves rolling dice and betting on whether the total of the dice will be higher or lower than the previous total. Like almost all hi-lo games, the amount that you can win on each guess is determined by the likelihood of you guessing correctly, but each Hi-Lo Dice game gives you at least three ‘free’ rolls which don’t put any of your winnings at risk. We will explain just how useful that feature is in a few minutes, but first we should tell you how the game is presented and how it works.
As with all online scratchcards, your first task is to decide how much you want to stake on the game. You do this by adjusting arrows up and down to set the required stake and then pressing a Submit button to get started.
The left of the Hi-Lo Dice instant win game card shows the numbers 2 to 12, a payout figure based on your stake and the multiplier value that the payout figure represents. To the right of that list is a Hi-Lo switch with a Roll button between the two options. A Free Roll button is then situated next to the main gaming area where you will see a pair of dice.
To win at Hi-Lo Dice you have to bet on whether you think the next dice total will be higher or lower than the current dice total. You make your selection by clicking the Hi or Lo switch and then you roll the dice by clicking the Roll button. If your prediction is correct then you will win whatever payout figure is associated with the outcome that you have achieved. At that stage you can either collect your winnings and end the game or continue betting to try and increase your prize even further.
Now here’s the really clever bit. If the current total is not one that you particularly like (because it is right in the middle of the hi-lo range, for example) then you can press the Free Roll button to roll the dice without betting. You begin the game with three free rolls, but more can be awarded as the game progresses. Of course, there is no guarantee that using a free roll will give you a better total, or that your eventual bet roll will be successful even if the odds are skewed in your favour, but you will certainly appreciate the ability to use your free rolls in tricky situations.
The Hi-Lo Dice game is very nice to look at, with plenty of wood and green baize textures giving it the rather traditional appearance of a casino game.
