Golden Balls
Golden Balls is an online scratchcard version of the popular television game show of the same name. The Golden Balls game is played over several rounds, but before you can start you need to select the amount of money that you want to bet on the game. The more you bet, the bigger the cash prizes will be, so bear this in mind if you want a chance to win yourself a genuinely life-changing jackpot.
When you have selected your stake you are straight into Round 1. Here you will see your own Golden Balls and two of the four Golden Balls belonging to each of three opponents. Complete details of the balls in play appear at the foot of your game screen, and your job here is to eliminate one of your opponents in the hope of getting rid of as many Killer balls as you can without sacrificing high-value balls.
The balls of the person you eliminate will be revealed and taken out of play. Two new Golden Balls and one Killer are added to the mix as you enter Round 2. Again, your task is to eliminate one of the two remaining opponents. When you have done so, their balls will be revealed and taken out of play.
In Round 3 you are shown the Golden Balls that are left in play, but you won’t be able to see what they contain. Your job is to pick five of the balls. Pick a cash ball and that amount of cash is added to the Cash Total. However, try to avoid Killer balls because these reduce your Cash Total by 90%.
The final round is Round 4, and here you have to decide whether to Split the Cash Total with your opponent (which in this version allows you to collect the Cash Total) or try to Steal and double the amount of your win. If you Steal and your opponent decides to Split then you will win twice the Cash Total. However, if you Steal and your opponent also Steals then you win nothing.
There is no Jasper Carrott in this online scratchcards version of the Golden Balls game, but there are some great visuals and sound effects that create a very authentic Golden Balls atmosphere. Will you have the nerve to try and Steal after building up a nice Cash Total, or will you play it safe and Split? In this game, as in the television game show, the choice is yours!
