At the top left and right of the screen are the hot and cold water taps, and when you press Play these will turn on to add even more bubbles to the ones that already provide a foamy backdrop for the game.
When the taps have been running for a moment or two they will turn themselves off and a handful of bubbles will appear. Your task is to pop the bubbles to reveal whatever is inside – it will either be a multiplier value or a yellow rubber duck. But be quick! The bubbles remain on screen for just a few seconds, and if you don’t pop them they will disappear and you will have to pop other bubbles elsewhere until they come back.
Of course, it doesn’t really matter whether you pop the bubbles when they first appear or you take a more leisurely approach to the game, but trying to pop the bubbles before they disappear from view is a lot of fun and adds an appealing ‘arcade action’ element to the game. For those of you who would rather dispense with manual bubble-popping altogether, a single click on a Reveal All button will get you straight to the bottom-line of winning or losing in a flash.
If you get three matching multiplier amounts then you will win your stake multiplied by that matched amount. However, if you get three yellow rubber ducks first then the Foamy Fortunes game ends and you will win nothing.
