Fast Hands
Fast Hands is an online scratchcard game at the Hopa site which takes the traditional game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, puts it in the middle of an urban setting, adds a modern soundtrack and throws in the ability to win up to £200,000. Players can choose to play anything from one to six ‘rounds’ at a time, and with the odds of winning any prize being 1 in 3 in each round, playing the maximum of six rounds can often result in winning not just one prize but multiple prizes. Online scratchcards fans who are familiar with Rock, Paper, Scissors should be able to understand the Fast Hands online scratchcard straight away, but for those of you who aren’t familiar with the original game, we will explain it as we go along…
The Fast Hands online scratchcard game shows a central hand and six surrounding hands that are initially greyed out. Each of the greyed out hands represents a different game, and you select how many games you want to play by clicking on the same number of greyed out hands. Your stake on each hand must be the same, but it can be adjusted from pennies to pounds or vice versa using the Hand Price panel at the bottom of the scratchcard.
When you have selected the number of hands that you want to play and you have adjusted your stake, press the green Play button to begin the game(s). All of the hands will clench into fists and count to three before making a sign for Rock (a clenched fist), Paper (a flat hand palm-down) or Scissors (middle and index fingers extended).
The hand in the middle of the game represents your opponent and each of the outer hands represent you. If any of your hands beats the middle hand then you will win a cash prize associated with the winning hand.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Rock, Paper, Scissors, the basic rules are as follows:
Scissors cuts Paper (scissors win)
Paper covers Rock (paper wins)
Rock blunts Scissors (rock wins)
If one of your hands gives the same result as the central hand then those hands will automatically be replayed until a winner is determined. Play all six hands at once and you can expect at least one of them to be replayed, and that is part of the fun. Win a few prizes along the way – possibly even a jackpot – and Fast Hands is a game that is sure to have you coming back for more.
