Darts has been a popular game in bars, pubs and social clubs for decades, and now there is a Darts instant win game at the Scratch2Cash website that gives you a chance of winning up to £200,000. Although darts in the real world requires a good deal of skill, the instant win version is – rather fortunately for many of us – a game of chance. 1 in 3 online scratchcards is a winner, and you can either participate in a convincing simulation of throwing the darts yourself or you can get the game to throw the darts on your behalf.
Both approaches give you exactly the same chance of winning, so you are free to choose whichever option appeals to you the most.
You can bet as little as 50p on each Darts online scratchcard game, and the more you bet the bigger the prizes are. The game card shows a traditional dartboard in a pub environment (there’s a glass of beer standing on the shelf to your right should you fancy a virtual drink) and to the right of the dartboard itself is a score board.
The score board has two scratch panels. The top panel is marked Prize and hides the value of cash that you are playing for. The other scratch panel hides the score that a Champion has already achieved.
If you want to throw the darts manually then don’t touch the scratch panels. Instead, use your mouse cursor to aim your dart at the board and press your left mouse button to throw it. You have three darts to throw, and your job is to score as many points as you can with them.
When you have thrown your three darts then the Prize and Champion score scratch panels are scratched automatically. If your score is better than that achieved by the Champion then you win the prize stated in the Prize panel.
Those of you who would prefer the game to throw the darts on your behalf can scratch the Prize and Champions score panels at the beginning of the game, and the rest of the game will take care of itself.
A handy Autoplay feature allows you to play as many Darts games as you want without lifting a finger, but we prefer the manual ‘aim and throw’ approach because we think it makes for a more immersive and entertaining online scratchcards experience.
Overall, Darts is a very well designed game with realistic graphics and some great sound effects. We haven’t yet achieved a perfect score of 180 just yet, but we intend to keep trying until we do!
