The Christmas game card shows a traditional festive scene with three houses decorated for the celebrations. It is late at night, the moon is full and Santa’s sleigh is flying high in the sky. Your job is to choose one of the houses for Santa to visit, and you do this by pointing and clicking.
When you have selected your house, the game will take over and Santa will attempt to pay a visit. In some cases he won’t succeed because he hasn’t been on a diet and he is too fat to get down the chimney. Sometimes he will slip on the roof and fall off. And sometimes he will go down the chimney only to reappear a moment later because the fire is lit! In all of those cases you lose and the game ends.
Fortunately, Santa does succeed every now and again, and when he makes it safely down a chimney you will see him inside the house that you have chosen. That’s when you will hear him shout “Ho! Ho! Ho!” and also when you will win the prize that is shown on the screen!
The sound effects and animation in this Christmas scratchcard game are brilliant, and playing the game is very much like watching a humorous Christmas card come to life. There is, as we said earlier, very little to scratch, and that might not suit some players, but as a festive one-off we think that Christmas is well worth playing.
