Cash Grid
Cash Grid is an online scratchcard game that gives you four ways to win. The game can be played for £2 at the National Lottery site (or for free if you play for fun only), and the top prize is £75,000. The odds of you winning any prize are an incredible 1 in 2.98, so you probably won’t need to play many games at all before you hit a winner! We won on our very first attempt (unfortunately the jackpot proved elusive) and you have a 1 in 2.98 chance of doing the same!
You have 8 selections when the game begins, and all you have to do in each case is select one of the blank squares along the edge of the game card. This will reveal a number on a coloured tile. That number will then be placed on the 5 x 5 grid and a tick will appear on any of the left hand prize strips that apply. You can then select another blank square to reveal another number, and you continue doing this until all of your selections have been made.
The four ways to win are as follows:
Four Corners – Pick two, three or four numbers that relate to the corners on the 5 x 5 grid to win £4, £40 or £80, respectively.
Complete Horizontal or Vertical Line – Pick five numbers that make a complete horizontal or vertical line on the grid and you will win £75.
Same Colour – Pick four or more numbers that are on tiles of the same colour and you will win £2, £10, £50 or £100.
Longest Number Run – Pick four or more consecutive numbers and you will win £25, £100, £5,000 or the top prize of £75,000.
With four ways to win, it is possible to win more than one prize in any single game, so even if you don’t land the jackpot straight away you can still win yourself a good amount of cash trying!
