The 7 Times Lucky game card looks quite complicated at first glance, but that’s only because there is so much action packed into it. Around the edge of the card are 42 small squares containing a number from 1 to 10, a £7 symbol or a £77 symbol. A spinner at the top left of the card is used to pick mathematical symbols for addition, multiplication, division and subtraction. The spinner also features a segment labelled SUM H and a segment labelled £14.

The main part of the card is occupied by seven lines of sums, labelled SUM A, SUM B, SUM C and so on through to SUM G. Each sum line consists of a blank square, a spin button, another blank square, a space, another spin button and yet another blank square before an equals sign and a space for the final answer.

When you launch the game you will notice that the numbers around the edge of the 7 Times Lucky scratchcard are on coloured tiles. The colours are green, black, yellow, purple, pink, red, blue and orange. Initially the numbers are in order, and there are four sequences of the numbers 10 to 1. Start the game by pressing the SHUFFLE button and the numbered squares will be shuffled before being flipped over so that their values are hidden. At this point a TARGET TOTAL figure will appear to the right of each sum line A to G.

Select an outer square to reveal a number. This will go in the first blank square in the SUM A line. You next press the SPIN button to rotate the spinner. If the spinner shows £14 then you win £14 instantly. If the spinner shows SUM H then an eighth sum line will be added underneath SUM G, giving you an extra chance to win a prize. Otherwise the mathematical symbol selected by the spinner will replace the first Spin button in the sum line.

You now select another outer square to reveal a number which is inserted into the next black square on the sum line. When you have done this the first part of the sum will be carried out and the resulting figure will be positioned in the space in the sum line. Spin the spinner again and choose another outer square and your input for the first sum line will be complete. The answer to the sum will be displayed and if it is the same as the Target Total you will win the prize hidden under the associated Prize panel to the right.

Having carried out the first sum, you do exactly the same thing for each remaining sum. If any of your sum totals equal the Target Total then you win. In addition, if you reveal a £7 or £77 symbol when selecting outer cards then you win that prize instantly. You can also win prizes for getting 3 matching numbers or 3 matching coloured tiles.

We know that this review is rather lengthy, but we really have tried to keep it as short and sweet as possible without missing any of the main points. The bottom line is that 7 Times Lucky is a wonderfully involving online scratchcard that will keep you amused for several minutes per game, and give you multiple chances to win prizes worth up to £70,000! If that doesn’t make the 7 Times Lucky game well worth playing, we don’t know what would!
